On the scale of cute, quick and easy this craft is a 10, but it is also a 9 on the messy scale.

In a large bowl, combine
4 cups of sunflower seeds
1/2 cup water
3/4 of flour
3 table spoons of corn syrup

I pressed the mixture into cookie cutters set out on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper. Once I pressed the mixture in the cookie cutter, I took a pencil and “drilled” a hole”. When the cutter is clean the cutter slide right off the mixture keeping its shape well. Easy touch removing the cutter, you might need to rebuild a piece or two. You can either leave these out to dry 8-24 hours or I placed them in the oven for 2-3 hours on 200degrees (about an hour in I removed them, re-drilled the holes and flipped them over).

After they were completely dry, I strung a ribbon through.

So easy, so cute.
