I did this quick cookie project and didn’t think much of it, but the kids loved it! So since they are the true judges on fun projects, I decided to pass this along. It is Semi-Homemade inspired, because I actually used a cookie mix instead of making the cookies from scratch, but I did make the icing, I just can’t use store bought icing anymore, I just LOVE a buttercream homemade icing. We had a huge pile of candy canes from the Elf on the Shelf Adventures. The kids loved crushing the candy canes to the perfect little pieces. For an added element I actually used a cookie mix that had peppermint chips in the dough.
